Zeret Kitchen is named after my home village of Zeret, a typical rural village in the highlands of northern Ethiopia. It was there I first learnt to cook, learning the craft of Ethiopian cooking from my mother, like she did from her mother.

My husband and I started the restaurant in Camberwell to bring the unique and delicious taste of Ethiopian cooking.
