About Food For Friends

The restaurant was founded with the ethos of serving global vegetarian cuisine. It was a place that Brighton’s mix of eclectic locals knew and loved. It was a regular occurrence to see scores of hungry people queuing around the building, all waiting to order their lunch at the infamous Food for Friends counter. Food for Friends is still enjoying the same level of popularity but for different reasons.

A change of ownership occured in 2004 that brought the venue to a more relaxed, friendly and comfortable environment to eat good food. In July 2018 a new chapter begun with a new ownership which has guaranteed that Food For Friends remained independent and local to Brighton only.
